Raptor facts
The second largest falcon in the world, the Saker can range from a dark brown to a beautiful blond colour. Sakers are migratory birds & many falconers lose even experienced birds due to this natural instinct. The favoured bird of arab falconers, Sakers are used to hunt ‘Houbara’ (the Mcqueens Bustard). They consider the Houbara an aphrodisiac so it is highly prized by arab men!
